HELLO MY NAME IS LINDA AND I LOST MY SON ADAM AT THE TENDER AGE OF 14YEARS, HE HAD BEEN BULLIED AT SCHOOL FOR 4 YEARS AND FINALY THE PAIN IT TOOK TO STAY WAS GREATER THAN THE PAIN IT TOOK TO GO.
ADAM LEFT 3 BROTHERS BEHIND THE YOUNGEST BEING ONLY 9 YEARS OLD HIS NAME IS DAVID. HE IS THE ONE THAT FOUND ADAM HANGING THAT MORNING I DREAD TO THINK WHAT THAT BOY FELT WHEN HE FOUND HIM.
I DREAD TO THINK OF ADAM'S LAST THOUGHTS. I KNOW HE DIDN'T WANT TO DIE, HE ONLY WANTED THE BULLYING TO STOP. YES YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE IF YOU DARE COME TO THIS SITE.
ADAM WAS BULLIED BECAUSE HE WAS DIFFERENT AND THE WAY I CAN ONLY DESCRIBE THIS IS THAT HE WAS A CARING GENTLE BOY WHO WAS READY TO HELP ANYONE IN NEED.
HE DIDN'T GO OUT ON THE STREETS AT NIGHT HE WOULD RATHER PLAY MUSIC ON HIS KEYBOARD OR FLY HIS FLIGHT SIMULATOR. ADAM WAS A PURPLE BELT IN KARATE WHICH HE HAD TO GIVE UP WHEN HE BECAME A SEA CADET, ON TUESDAYS AND THURSDAYS HE ATTENDED THE ROYAL NAVY SEA CADETS AT LEEDS HMS ARK ROYAL. THAT WAS WHERE HIS TRUE FRIENDS WERE, THIS IS SOMETHING THE BULLIES LOATHED BECAUSE THEY WERE FAILURES IN PEOPLE SKILLS AND PERHAPS POOR IN DEVELOPING FRIENDSHIP SKILLS.
ADAM WANTED TO GO TO SEA TO BE A NAVY WARFARE OFFICER, BUT THAT WAS TAKEN AWAY FROM HIM THROUGH ENVY AND BULLYING FROM HIS PEERS. WELL I KNOW WHAT MY SON WOULD HAVE BEEN ALL I CAN SAY TO YOU BULLIES WHAT HAVE YOU BECOME, HAS THIS CHANGED YOUR LIVES OR ARE YOU STILL IGNORANT TO THE FACT OF SOMEONE DYING THROUGH YOUR SELFISH ACTIONS. 5th June 2001 : 14-year-old Adam Moore Grigg hanged himself with a lanyard from his sea cadet's uniform after three years of bullying which started at Broadgate Primary School, Horsforth, Leeds, and continued when he moved to Horsforth School. Adam was described as a quiet, sensitive child who loved to play with computers and his pet dog. He was looking forward to a career in the Royal Navy. Instead he endured three years of being spat at and beaten up, and had threatening notes written in his school books which culminated in his suicide to escape the violence) written by Buulycide site. His easy-bruising tender heart

He feels much more than others do,
But then he tries to hide,

The gentle boy inside.
With wit and style and artifice
His secret's kept so well.

Meanwhile, the bullies, live on and on
Their unexamined lives.
The low, the stupid, and the cruel,
The sluggish idiots thrives.
To fill the world with empty talk
And greed and hate and noise,

For all the gentle boys.
Some gentle boys grow heartsick
And tired of this charade.
They take themselves right off the Earth,
Or fight, then fail, then fade.
If you should love a gentle boy

If he decides his time has come,

Like the day when our baby was born.
How he filled all our lives with such pleasure,

I remember adam from primary school & high school.
He was a lovely, caring boy and funny when he could act his real self!!
Its discusting at the tourture this boy went threw, Should never have happened.. not to any one. I hope the people who bullied adam get whats coming to them one day and realise what they have done.
